Documentation That Works as Hard as Your Team.
Consistent visual documentation is more than a project record — it’s a communication tool, a risk management asset, and a marketing resource all in one.
When your site is documented regularly and professionally, you have the evidence to report progress accurately, resolve disputes confidently, and showcase your work compellingly — at every stage of delivery.
Services
Four Types ofProfessional Documentation.
Aerial Progress Photography
High-resolution drone photography capturing your site from above — providing consistent, repeatable aerial records at each scheduled visit to track construction progress over time.
- Consistent capture angles across every visit
- Full-resolution RAW + edited JPEG delivery
- Organised and labelled by date and milestone
- CASA compliant — all airspace managed
Ground-Based Site Photography
On-the-ground photography capturing key construction details, trades, and progress elements that aerial imagery alone can't document.
Progress Videos
Short-form video edits from each site visit — ideal for stakeholder updates, internal reporting, and social media content throughout the build.
360° Site Documentation
Create immersive, high-resolution 360° panoramas that capture your entire construction site from a single location. Ideal for remote project reviews, progress reporting, stakeholder collaboration, and creating a permanent visual record that allows teams to revisit the site long after the visit.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything You
Need to Know.
Everything you need to know about our construction and development visual media services — from capture to delivery.
What is construction progress documentation?
How often should construction progress photography be scheduled?
The ideal schedule depends on your project’s size and pace. We offer weekly, fortnightly, monthly, and milestone-based documentation packages, allowing you to capture key construction stages such as excavation, slab pours, structural works, façade installation, fit-out, and final completion. We can also create a customised schedule to match your reporting requirements.
Do you provide both drone and ground photography?
Yes. Every project can include a combination of aerial drone photography, ground-level photography, and cinematic progress video. Combining both perspectives provides a complete visual record of your project, capturing overall site progress as well as important construction details that may not be visible from the air.
Can you document projects from groundbreaking to completion?
Absolutely. We specialise in long-term construction progress documentation, providing consistent imagery throughout the entire build. By capturing the same viewpoints during every visit, we create a professional visual timeline that clearly demonstrates project progress from initial site preparation to final handover.
Are your drone operations CASA certified and insured?
Yes. All drone operations are conducted by a CASA-certified Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) holder with an Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate (AROC). SkyMission Studio also carries $20 million Public Liability Insurance, giving clients confidence that every commercial drone operation is performed safely, professionally, and in full compliance with Australian aviation regulations.
How quickly will progress photos and videos be delivered?
Most projects are delivered within 24 to 48 hours after the site visit. All images and videos are professionally edited, colour corrected, and organised into clearly labelled folders, making them ready for project reporting, stakeholder presentations, websites, social media, or internal documentation.
Can the images be used for client reports and marketing?
Yes. Our deliverables are created for multiple purposes, including construction progress reports, investor updates, client presentations, tender submissions, project portfolios, social media, websites, and marketing campaigns. We deliver high-resolution files suitable for both digital and print use.
Do you travel outside Brisbane for construction projects?
Yes. While we are based in Brisbane, we regularly undertake projects throughout South East Queensland, including the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Ipswich, Logan, Redlands, Toowoomba, and surrounding regions. We are also available for interstate commercial projects by arrangement.
